“The Danielle” is named after one of our graduates who helped bring the More Than Project to fruition. “The Danielle” design calls for us all, as a society, to recognize each individual with their unique experiences, to be acknowledged and accepted, regardless of their past. By "unjudging" a person, we realize the importance that the elements of inclusivity play in the restoration of human dignity for those women who have experienced incarceration. It implores us to question our cultural inclination to ostracize those (with different life experiences) (who have experienced trauma) and instead embrace them, emphasizing that we are all ‘more than’ our past and ‘more than’ any label. 100% of proceeds from “The Dani” benefits LEAP and allows us to continue to empower justice involved women through education, housing & employment.
